As its great as a normal ballhead and can double as a panhead. But no tilt. Was thinking of getting a slider as well. Not sure if there really is a solution for ball, tilt and pan heads. that is jack of all trades and master of none. In short if you want a good quality head that can pan and tilt smoothly for video a still head no matter how versatile won't give you the smoothness and resistance of a dedicated video head.
