Now for some reason the 1Dx and 60D RAW images show up with a preview image to click on and the 7D2 just shows up as the RAW file with the lightroom logo. Apr 06, 2016 07:02 | #2 Try installing the software that came with the 7d2. I think that will install/update the codec that allows you to preview raw images. yeah, I gots some stuff.

No luck, it's weird when I borrowed the 1Dx from Canon I didn't install the software for that camera and it automatically showed the preview thumbnails.
