this little green-winged teal seems to have lagged behind his fellows in leaving for the summer... usually they've all moved on by now. maybe he likes it here?

a bit later, he took off and headed out toward the lake. it caught me by surprise. so didn't have all the settings just right for a fast-moving BIF, but this didn't come out too bad...
