i'm assuming your gear list in your signature is up to date...the only lenses that would fit on a FF are the 50mm and 24-105L listed...
No, that assumption isn't correct.

At the last family gathering I used the 135L/6D for impromptu portraits, and the 70D/24-105 for larger groups/snaps/DOF. During my grandson's athletic stuff, I use the 70D/70-200 for the field and the 6D/17-40 for the stands/larger views. I think the entire point of using two bodies is the whole 'Geek Factor' thing. With 2 SLRs on hand, I am easily the Geek-iest grandpa in the stands! I have an ef-s lens, the 18-55 STM. I bought it so I can sell the 70D as a usable kit, when the time comes.

sandpiper Cream of the Crop More info | Apr 08, 2016 14:03 | #19 Josilou wrote in post #17964836 My budget is appx £1500 and I've been considering the 6D or the 5D mark ii, though don't know if there's another contender too. I don't think I could afford the mk iii. If you can stretch that budget very slightly, the 5D mk3 is available from HDEW for £1579 and has the added benefit of coming with a 3 year warranty .
