This lens and the GX8 really presents a super concise 400mm kit, compromised of course
with the mFT sensor but my back and arms appreciate it every time I grab it over the
beafier EOS kit. POTN doesn't have either the GX8 or Leica 100-400 in its database so I just
randomly chose a body and lens for the album-

Very nice; I'd hardly call it "compromised" :)

Haha, thanks. I call all of photography a compromise, but again mFT is a compromise (in my mind)
that I love to carry.
I do believe that mFT will force you to become a better photographer=no massive cropping, no shooting from afar. It is
because of mFT that I discovered blinds and camo and thinking through animal behavior. But none of those were the real
reason for adding a mFT system. The beginning was solely because Sony doesn't offer a native e-mount in 400mm.

The close focus capability of the Leica 100-400mm is outstanding-
