I saw a bundle that seemed like a good deal: transceiver, receiver, gels, etc. for ... $430? but, they're OOS.

Is there a good deal around, now? And does it matter if I go godox or streaklight, etc?

I'm ready to buy one, now. :)

I would buy either CheetahStand or StreakLight if you are in US simply for the after-sale support and they are not that much more expensive than eBay etc.

Yes sir.

Would you tell me why you didn't get something with a modeling light? Seems it would have been much easier?
I'm not criticizing, I'm curious.

And which tripod head do you suggest for mounting this to?

No reason really. A modeling light is nice but I guess if you never had one you don't miss it. :)

I don't mount them on tripods. I mount them on light stands with these.

These also allow you to use bowens mount modifiers.

Sorry, I have a light stand in my cart and called it a tripod.

I don't see how this one attaches? Doesn't say bowens?

That is designed to specifically fit the 360. It slips over the light bulb on the light. It isn't made as a bowens mount.

And I suppose the bowens mount prevents this from also fitting?

The 360s don't have a native modifier mount. That's why I chose to go with the S type bracket...it allows you to use any bowens mount modifier. :)

But can I put the flash on that S-mount, *and* use the beauty dish I linked, the one that doesn't use bowens mount - or, will they crash into each other?

(I realize I'm intended to use bowen-mount dishes.)
