I think this is just a common House Sparrow. It just seems a bit large to me.

Male house sparrow. They are an invasive species to North America and cause a lot of problems.

Thanks. I just took down the nest box. It's supposed to be for bluebirds. A couple of years ago those rotten so and sos killed my baby bluebirds. This particular bird just seemed too big to be a house sparrow. Anyway, it will need to find new accommodations.
