The 40D is now sold. The 50mm f/1.4 is still available. I have a Canon 40D and EF 50mm f/1.4 lens for sale. I, recently, acquired these when I bought a package from a local photographer. I and a teenage student in my photo class have taken about 85 photos with the camera and lens to make sure everything is working and I found no issues. I used a variety of modes (P, Av, Tv, M, green box) and all worked as expected.
The lens is sharp and focuses well. It did not require any MFA when I put it on my 5D III (unlike the other 50mm f/1.4 I already owned!) The body and lens show signs of use but are in very good condition. It appears the prior owner took pretty good care of it.

Lens Condition: 8 out of 10 for the body and 9 out of 10 for the glass. There is very little dust inside this lens and I see no scratches or flaws. The rubber focusing ring shows the typical graying in the ridges.
Sale Includes: Lens, front cap, body cap, OEM lens hood, and I'll throw in the 58mm Hoya Circular Polarizer that came in the package.
