ISS Solar Transit, Sandy Springs, Georgia, April 12, 2016 @ 16h00m01.2s.

The station was 323 miles away, with a diameter of 52.82" (Sun's altitude was 49.3 degrees).

You can also see the massive sunspot AR 2529.

What a historical image in terms of what is going with sun right now,(AR2529) then ISS transiet.
However please check you measurments as quoted. I believe you have made a major mistakes but you are not the first one. In fact NASA lost millions of dollars on the same exact mistake.

Thanks. I converted km to miles. I probably didn't need to here in this forum, but I had just posted this on my facebook page, where most of my friends are American and more familiar with "miles".

It was approximately 521 kilometers from me.

the ISS orbits at 330km +- a couple of km = around 205 miles

I haven't done the math to see what difference the altitude angle makes ?

From my younger days I remember A squared + B squared = C squared, but that's about it!

I let Calsky do the work. The site gives a distance to the ISS in its prediction.
