My son is a senior and doing a project for cinema class. He will be doing video inside our house in low light. He has a Canon T3i with 10-18STM and a 24mm 2.8 STM he can use.
I could let him borrow my EOS M3 if you guys think that will be better..anyways what shutter speed and what ISO for low to very low light video and which lens? I have never done video

Video really isn't much different than stills, except that you can use slower shutter speeds. The shutter speed really controls how the motion blur looks in the video. Most people would consider some motion blur to give the most natural look.

Here's what I would do:

1080 24P
Shutter speed - 1/25 (in most other situations I would choose to use 1/50)
Aperture - wide open (probably f/2.8 on the 24 STM)
ISO - as high as you need to get the desired results
