Yeh, they look great. Hopefully I won't be in a gym that requires it, but nice to know I can go there if needed. Thanks.

(6 edits in all) | I don't even think ISO 3200 is a native ISO on that camera, I believe the last native is 1600. 3200 is already an extended ISO but made selectable for you without turning on extended options. I try to keep it at 12800 though, or lower. Past Equipment | My Personal Gallery

Don't listen to Teamspeed, his PP is voodoo!!!!!!!!!!!. I'm just kidding, he certainly knows what he's talking about I'm just not that great at PP. If you are able to get those results w/ the 7D Mark ll then I would say go for it, 10FPS is awesome at that price point.

If you are able to get those results w/ the 7D Mark ll then I would say go for it, 10FPS is awesome at that price point. I have the T2i & 2 7Ds. Both good cameras for their time & for what they are. I was just very impressed by the 6D, & ended up getting a second one. Granted, much of my hysteria is just due to the fact that I'm going from a crop to FF for the first time. The only negative thing I can say about the 6D is the kinda sluggish FPS @ 4.5. But that should be fine for most people. Right now @ B&H you can get the 6D Mark l & 1 year subscription to Photoshop/LR for $999. https://www.bhphotovideo.com …n_eos_6d_dslr_camera.html Again, with the results Teamspeed is getting @ 12,800 I would probably go with the 7D Mark ll. Everybody has a different level of both tolerance for and ability to dealing with noise. I always suggest to constantly push your ISO until you hit a personal level that you when you view the image at 70%, you don't like the results. Use the camera to do some of the work, then use tools to get you the rest of the way. Once you know your personal ceiling at viewing 70% and liking the results, it provides you one of the limits for the exposure triangle. You can then play with the remaining two, aperture (wide open isn't always best, a bit more aperture allows flexibility in AF discrepancies) and shutter speed for stopping action. I think I want a 6D next or something along those lines. I shoot my son's games with a T1i in HORRIBLE middle school dungeons, err.. uuhh.. gyms. I regularly have to go to ISO 6400 just to something to show up (still under exposed) at 1/500 or slower. On top of that, the ISO 6400 is the expanded iso on the camera, so it isn't even a true 6400 either.I will try to post some shots soon. Might want to jump on this if you want a 6D, good deal! Already serviced and cleaned by Canon, and shutter count is pretty low for the 6D generation and from a good member. Past Equipment | My Personal Gallery

You are absolutely right. I am a terrible pixel peeper, I look at 100% (or more) knowing damn well no one will view the images in that way. I'm still learning the 6D & will have to experiment more with it's (my) limitations. You are also correct about the aperture. There have been times mine was somehow changed to F/3.2 or so & the images were just fine. It is definitely nice to have that extra DOF when covering great athletes.
