Very similar numbers, 1/800th is my desperation speed (1/800th really scares me at the pro level, but that's a small part of my job). My goal for minimum is 1/1250 - 1/2000. Life definitely got better when I went FF.

, the topic of lighting comes up. He said he was forced to shoot @ 1/800. I was slightly surprised to find that he goes that slow very often without any fears. Probably being over cautious, but a faster SS also helps when I'm not so steady.
