Certainly a challenge species to shoot; I particularly like that first one. It's unusual to get a upright angle on 'em like that.

Thanks, guys. A couple years ago, we had one that stayed around all winter, but for some reason, they are considered uncommon in our county in spring. Nifty birds though.

The detail on image one is huge! ..And combined with nice even light and good PP of highlights and shadows as well as soft colors etc makes this an exceptional Bird shot ...Well done Al
