I literally NEVER switched to video mode on my 6D. Ever. Yesterday we took a trip and instead of just taking pics, I decided the night before Im going to make a movie type out of the trip. Just like video mode, I never used adobe premier until this afternoon on a free trial. My PP is awful, and the meseum didnt allow for tripods so its alittle shaky. But Ill add, it was very enjoyable filming.

I thought that was just ass kickin'! You did a great job.

I've never used the video function on my 6D either. Maybe I should look into that.

Good on you, brother.

I just watched/skipped first minute or so /sorry/. Just one thing - make an overlap of one frame between clips, so transition is smoother. You can make two or three to overlap as well, but I, when I was very unhappy and had to make videos for a paycheck, chose one frame most often. In Premiere it was called... not "Dip To Black"... can't remember. THANK GOD, I CAN'T REMEMBER!!! :]
