Just finished a new computer build and I am currently running in onto a 4k TV which is great for gaming, but now I want to get a good monitor for photo/video.

I am looking at these BenQ monitors:

BenQ SW2700PT (external link)

BenQ BL2711U (external link)

BenQ GW2765HT (external link)

Other options might be:

Dell U3415W (external link)

Dell U2715H (external link)

...or am I missing the boat altogether?

All advice welcome and appreciated!

In case you are wondering, my build is as follows:

Gigabyte GA-Z170X mobo
i7-6700K 4.0Ghz
MSI R9 390X 8GB
LPX 16GB RAM
Samsung 850 EVO 500GB
WD Black Caviar 1TB

Regards,

Travis

I recently upgraded to a 32 inch panel and have this dell for sale if interested:

I'll do $200 shipped. It's in perfect condition.

But, I did replace it with this: BenQ BL3201PH, 32" IPS LED 4K Monitor with 32-Inch LED-Lit Screen. It is FANTASTIC. Just make sure you get an IPS panel with as much sRGB/RCG coverage as you can get.

How is the text on the 4K monitor? Its not too small to read? What about zooming in to detail in Photoshop?

I'm running Windows 10 and between it and the monitor it scales the text up nicely most of the time. There are some plug-ins when they load the dialog box text is teeny-tiny but overall it's fine. Zooming in is absolutely fantastic to me - You can see so much detail. I LOVE LOVE this monitor.

Thanks for the information, I have ordered the BL3201PH. I think it will actually be a great fit for what I do. Thanks again!
