Looking for a little info on ND filter, I am using my 24-105 and Sig 10-20 for the majority of landscapes at the moment.

I am looking at ND filters. Circular or Rectangle? And what are decent ones for around 100 bucks. Thanks in advance.

Cole

I use a combination of circular filters and the square filters.

I have a circular ND fader (82mm), which I really like. It takes up almost no room in my camera bag and is very convenient. I think both of your lenses take the 77mm filter, which the manufacturer is sold out of. http://www.genustech.tv …ns/genus-eclipse-nd-fader (external link). But, you might be able to find a good deal on one somewhere else. I mostly use this filter for handheld shooting, and typically only when I need to slow things down. I don't want to be at 1/4000 sec and f/22, and the fader helps me easily get things under control.

If my tripod is traveling with me, I have the square filter system (Lee). I love the "Big Stopper." http://www.leefilters.com/index.php/camera/bigstopper (external link) But, with these filters you need the filter and the filter holder. They are quite costly.

The problem with you will be only the price/budget, once you have then you may go my way even many don't go with it, but i found it after long walk with filters through years and after spending a lot, so you just don't do my mistake and go directly to where i am now, but again, it is still expensive solution, but it will put you in safe side for long time and maybe you will never look back then [you will buy it again only if it breaks/damages].
