I noticed that the XT32 is mentioned on the Godox website: http://www.godox.com/EN/NewsPage23.html (external link)

There is also a picture of the 1200 bulb which and because the two flash-tubes are moved to the side the posing LED will be able to output a bit more light instead of the 600 flash-tube that scatters the light more and make it less efficient.

In the Chinese part there is even a picture of it:

.....still waiting for container to arrive from China with my AD600BM

Depends upon which generation of StreakLight 360 you have. Does yours have an integrated transceiver, or does it need to have a receiver inserted via the USB port?

If the former, then you should be able to simply get an X1T-S for Sony once firmware for the flash is updated, allowing for communication with Canon, Nikon AND Sony transmitters.

I have the Flashpoint StreakLight 360 TTL for Canon with R2 Integrated Wireless Transceiver. Someone on another forum wasn't sure if the StreakLight uses the same firmware as the Godox.

I can't make up if you are asking a question or confirming it.

A streaklight is a Godox with streaklight silkscreened on it. Even the consistence of the paint is the same as of all other brands and only the shape and numbers or sequence of the letters differs.

Based on the description of the product on the Adorama website, I believe it's the AD360II. Some people say that they are identical and therefore I should be able to update it with the Godox firmware. Others think that Godox may make reseller-specific variations of their products and that the firmware may not be identical on the StreakLight. As I indicated earlier, someone thought that the X1T-S wouldn't be compatible with the StreakLight because of variations in the frequencies in the 2.4Ghz spectrum that they use, but others think that's not the case. An X1T-S is not that expensive. I can buy it, and if it doesn't work, I can always buy the XTR16.

The XTR16 is a receiver only and maybe you have to wait for the XT-32 as I am doing. The frequenties are the same of WiFi and I don't think that the FCC would be happy if Adorama woul go outside of the rules for that.

What I'm saying is that if the X1T-S by itself does not work with the integrated wireless receiver, I'll buy the XTR16 since that seems to be guaranteed to work with the X1T-S and I can plug it into the USB port.

The Adorama, Cheetah, Godox and other branded versions of a specific light are functionally the same. The firmware on the Godox site can be used for all branded versions of the light. Same for the triggers. All the X1Tc, n, or s are the same for the specific camera.

Sales reps for a reseller try hard to make it sound like their version is special. They are all the same. The only exception I'm aware of is Edward Tang (Cheetah) compelled Godox to put a blue LCD light on his CL600X units. Even that does not change the light to require special firmware.

That's good to hear. My question for Robsphoto and others in the know, is whether or not the current version of the Godox firmware allows me to use an X1T-S on my AD360II-C equivalent, or whether it's still being tested. If it's available I'll install it.

I do not own the XT1S yet. I tested the trigger with Sony gear and the Cheetahlight 600x. I am not sure what the current firmware will allow......

Happy Shooting:lol:

I haven't heard if the 360II firmware supports Sony TTL as a remote. If it doesn't it will soon. Edward informed Godox that the X1Ts firmware was good to release to production. That should also be the trigger to get Sony compatibility into the 360II. The 600TTL works fine with the Sony X1Ts even though the V2.2 firmware does not show Sony as an option for optical wireless.

Great. Now all I need is a reseller that has it in stock and ready to ship.

Scott,
Can you confirm if the XT32 will support UNIT/ALT, Masking feature(s)?
Also, is there any information about the rollout of the Canon, Nikon and Sony variants?

This is what Godox posted on their facebook page.

Looks like it is just a simple trigger to combine the XT line. Smart move if you ask me.

Very nice!

Now we can see the back of the XT32 we can see a focussing light and that the tilt of the upper part is fixed.
