HERE (external link) is the second installment of my evaluation.
Thought I'd see how much power it takes to light a subject backlit with shadows and sun behind.

I used the AD600TTL on a job yesterday.
When I finished I asked the client if he wanted a quick picture with one of his favorite toys.

I also told him I wanted to do a quick test to see how the light worked in TTL mode for fill on a sunny day.
As you can see the sun was camera right and behind. I put the AD600TTL about 30* camera right. Put a 24" Glow pop octa on it.
This image was -1EV, ISO 100, F2.8, 1/1600, strobe was +1FEC. Light stand was about 6 feet from Ken's feet.

A7RII, 24-70 F2.8 GM, Godox TT685 as on camera controller/trigger flash disabled.

The image has some LR processing.
