Frank,

Wow, I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. This is where being a Canon CPS Platinum member pays huge dividends as they would get you a loaner model right away. Assuming you're not a CPS member, ask for a supervisor and politely explain your situation. Perhaps they might be able to help you out.

I also hope you have a second body to shoot with as well.

Best wishes for a quick resolution!

Cheers,
Bryan

All depends on his location, all CPS does for me in the UK is a quicker return of items being repaired and a couple of cps stickers for the items I send in.

I really don't know what I'd like to say about this one. All your work is stellar, this one too, but looking at this woman I just cannot
imagine the burden yet she smiles!!

Nice shots. Curious what you are using for off camera flash?

My subjects are Whales from a boat, surfers & hand gliders on a Maui beach :)

My camera will be the 1DX MkII

My lens will be either....

100-400 MK II

400 DO MKII

New due to be released this year 400mm f5.6 L IS

I also have an 1.4 tc mkIII.

I have a 70-200 2.8 and a 24-70 2.8 that are soooooo sharp so I'm spoiled.

With action on the water I'm sure I'll benefit from the 1DX MKII, but what about the lens?

Do you think all of my lens options will work well for non professional me?
