Here are a few pictures from last weekends big game. Amazing how clean the 32000 ISO images turned out! Shot RAW with only LR medium contrast curve preset.

Well gang, for those of us still in the hunt for lower prices on CFast cards, B&H has a small discount on Lexar CFast cards through Oct 29th. This is the first discount on Lexar CFast cards since the 1DX2 came out.

And as an important heads-up, the Lexar 3600x CFast cards are not approved for the 1DX2, but the 3500x version is:

I don't know the first thing about sports but I know that are fantastic grabs. Ain't technology grand! ISO 32000. It really is amazing.
I'm soon to be in Panama and the 1DXii is going just for its ISO capability.

You know, I haven't had any issues with my 3600X card.

Last week a Snoylekimshi posted "Also , be careful with the Lexar 3600 .. these are optimized for ARRI video cameras and not certified by Lexar for the D1x Mk II ..I've used one , and lost some images ( 2 out of 22,000 , but , still) . The 3500 cards are certified, and you lose nothing in speed using these , and I've been using these since mid-summer on assignments .."

My 3600x is less than 30 day's old and felt it was worth exchanging for the 3500x (its even cheaper), since it's not listed as certified for 1DxMk II on the Lexar web-site.

After all everything you read on the internet is true, right?
