Love that burst rate!

Walking (or dancing?) on water.

anomaly... anyone getting these colour bands in the boken? Seems to happen only in high ISO 25600 in my images and then not every time.

HOSTED PHOTO DISPLAY FAILED: ATTACH id 866949 has been deleted. ]

I'm going to have to go on record as saying my 1dx2 does a lot of unexpected things.
Random burst rates, random noisy images, and random focusing.

I try on many occasions to replicate the problems but with no luck.
I love the camera but I do find myself using the max burst rate just to be sure I get one good image.

I love this shot. I wish I could have been standing there when you took it. Incredible cars.

Thank you, I will post more later, I am shooting an official video for those cars very soon. Also trying very hard to get a P1 involved to race against or put it on the strip with a 2017 Ford GT that I am shooting Saturday.

I usually use my 5DIV when I do portrait sessions, since there is more resolution. But I love the images from the 1DXII so much, I am seriously thinking about selling the 5DIV.

I understand. I like to carry two bodies, and I would carry two 1DX2 bodies if I could. The 1DX2 gets used for all the more challenging shots - birds, wildlife, portraits, airshows, etc. My 5D4 is used for landscape, country scenes (ie, barns), and urban scenes (architecture, not people). I really enjoy both bodies and I'm glad I have them, but the 1DX2 is better.
