We're having a lot of smoke in the Pacific Northwest from the wildfires burning in British Columbia. It's making the sunrises and sunsets look weird. This was sunrise this morning.

Nice shot but I hope it is a "one of a kind" deal. I have too many of that kind of shot.

This is my first experience with smoke this heavy. It's supposed to diminish on Saturday, but we'll have some haze for the foreseeable future.

This image is a fluke, a bit out of focus, but it is real. (I do not own or use Photoshop)
All I did was crop it a bit, and clone out a couple of distracting water droplets near the dog's head.
And what a head!
Too funny not to share!

And that's what the sunset looked like too, mere moments ago. Would be soooo nice to even only have the slightest of breezes

Smoke in the sky's from Canadian fires made for great photography opportunities on the sound in Washington
