These are two very nice shots. Great work.

Yes, but the camera can't do it's job, unless the photographer know what he's doing.

Very nice, sharp close-ups of the black phoebe.

Great big open spaces, I would live right in the centre quite happily. Seriously - you need to clean your sensor.

At least it shows it is a 1DX2, classic splatter pattern. 1DSplatter2.

Sorry to hear it got you too. I think mine has it a little bit, but so far haven't had it intrude on too many shots. Might send in for a cleaning before my CPS membership expires, just to mitigate any further splatter.

Aside from that, are you enjoying the 1DX2?

Your "splatter pattern" is very similar to my 1DX. I'd hoped that was eliminated on the 1DXII. With yesterday's rumor that there will be no 7DIII, I've been considering a lightly used 1DXII.

My wee Dopey (well, not so wee!) is number 4 on Flickr Explore today. I'm very chuffed that he's becoming a Flickr phenomenon even though it really has no meaning photography-wise!

So what are folks using to carry their gear in?
I've got a big backpack for when I'm carrying everything including the kitchen sink but would like something I can put the 1DxII in with a 100-400 and a 24-70.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
