Sorry I didn't include your beautiful photographs.... I figured I'd get that warning.

Anyway, I haven't used a 5DIV.... but I have used quite a few other Canon bodies and the 1D2 is by far, the best camera I've ever owned. It's nice trusting your gear, knowing it's going to do its job if you do yours.

I do have to get a bit closer to the wildlife than I did with the 7D2 or 1DIV... but I seem to have made that adjustment. Of course, the birds here in Florida seem to be a bit less skittish than in other places.

Oddly enough, I do better out on the nature trails than in my own backyard.... the birds near the feeders fly off if I breathe too heavily. ;)
