Well, I've had my new-to-me camera for a week now, and I must say some aspects of it are awesome. I was looking forward to comparing ISO6400 against my 7D2, but as it turns out I was shooting at a different soccer field with terrible lights, so I ended up cranking it up to ISO 10,000 in order to get 1/800 at f/2.8... needless to say, very happy to have had the upgrade!

However, I have noticed that when I'm shooting at high shutter speeds, I'm getting this pale strip on the "top" of the photo (left edge in portrait orientation). I'm assuming this is probably a failing shutter that I didn't pick up on because it only shows up above 1/1000?

Couple more. Went out yesterday to lake Coeur D Alene. The Alaskan bald eagle return every year for the Kokanee run. Lucky to have this in my backyard

I would love to have a camera with automatic animal eye focus and I hope I do some day. Makes my job easier.

These are very nice.

I made a big mistake when I sold the sigma a couple tears ago. Decided to grab another while they were on sale. Looks like a nice sharp copy. Got lucky today. He flew in from the top of a tree and was about 45 yards in front of me

Ooops...My bad

150-600 C. Its on sale for $899

Being able to hand hold at 600mm and not be on a tripod is priceless for me. Sure, way more misses than a 500 F/4.....but I will put up with that. I hike a lot and Im on my boat a lot. The 500F4 cant go in most of these situations

Yes I hear more positive things about C than S. Looks like weight is much better on C as well.
