Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

Gadget-Guy Senior Member More info | May 16, 2016 09:30 | #731 See a few are complaining over on the DP review forum of having problems with the 1DX MKII not being sharp when used with the 500mm f4 or 300mm f2.8. The equipment you'll leave at home will be the equipment you'll need the most!

Can safely say my one is working like a treat with all my glass and actually I have nothing bad to say about it at all. *Cough* Sounds like people who don't know how to use their cameras and lenses. *Cough*

I'd be happy to do some testing with the 300 2.8 II, but one of you nice people would need to send me a body... Image editing ok; C&C always welcome.
