the freezing hailing beach today in Toronto - jpeg sooc

these bastards move way too fast - even the 1DX II has a low hit rate - 1:1 crop

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

Don't think that is possible. Not when you have zero skill to begin like myself. :)

See a few are complaining over on the DP review forum of having problems with the 1DX MKII not being sharp when used with the 500mm f4 or 300mm f2.8.

Can safely say my one is working like a treat with all my glass and actually I have nothing bad to say about it at all.

*Cough* Sounds like people who don't know how to use their cameras and lenses. *Cough*

Sorry, had something stuck in my throat there.

I'd be happy to do some testing with the 300 2.8 II, but one of you nice people would need to send me a body... ;-)a

Image editing ok; C&C always welcome.

I have only stuck a 600mm f/4 II with a 1.4X , & a 100-400 II on my 1DX Mark II and I can verify that they are both razor sharp with no MFA needed. I will post a few 100-400 shots later.

I have a 300mm F/2.8 II that I will throw on and do some testing, then report back with my findings. Overall, I have been nothing but pleased with my upgrade from the 1DX.
