Ah, indeed. Two with the same issue.

Personally haven't had this issue yet and I've been using the camera extensively. 4667 images so far and hours of video shot. Just luck of the draw not having an issue with the cards I guess?

Anyone has similar issue?

I edited a file couple days ago with PS, and the file in CFast is good.
QUOTED IMAGE

But today, I re-open the file direct from the CFast card, with PS and DPP4, this shows up :(

Is it the CFast card or else?

SanDisk CFast reader runs hot after 1/2 hr.

I have re-format the card with 1DX2, and finger crossed :(

I've seen this issue on SD cards compliment of my 7DMKll, but never on a CF or CFast.

Received mine 3 hrs ago. Just enough charge in the battery as received to allow setup and a few quick pics. Now waiting for the battery to fully charge.

CFAST is not having a strong launch IMHO.

I have the Lexar Cfast card reader showing up for my Workflow hub.

I will see if I can replicate the corruption and isolate it to the bundled Sandisk card or card reader.

For the people that are currently having this problem, can you provide more details about your work flow. Sounds like in the 2nd case, the file was opened from a hot card.

Couldn't wait to try the 2X tC iii on my 400 DO but dark clouds took away the light so i had to use Better Beamer with -2ev comp. Can't believe I can hand hold 800 mm and track birds. :-P

You could always try refreshing your Cfast card if the card got hot could be corrupted. http://kb.sandisk.com …l-format-and-refresh-tool (external link)

I got the cxamera/CFast card & card reader deal...I used the card reader & opened in Lightroom... then tried downloading straight from camera into Lightroom...same thing on same two photos... tried using Canon DPP to open pics straight from camera but I'm not familiar with DPP & didn't know how to view photos...
if I'm not to tired tonight (after working 12 hr today) I was thinking about shooting a music venue tonight & see if it happens again...
called Canon the other night & lady asked if previewing photos in camera if they looked like that & I told her they looked fine on camera...
she said card reads fast & maybe missing info...lol
I'll see how it goes...

It is my understanding that camera preview is actually a smaller thumbnail jpg that may have saved fine. But doesn't really view the actual image file (at least not the RAW). So it wouldn't help your cause. Those 2 files, unfortunately, did not write well on the card.

I'm fairly certain there may be some bad sectors on the memory card itself that's causing some of the images to have problems.

Hopefully you won't have much of an issue getting a replacement card.

yeah but who do you go to to get a replacement?
Adorama,Canon or Sandisk?
I called Adorama...they acted like they wanted nothing to do with the whole problem & couldn't give me the number for Canon fast enough...
Canon wanted me to try this, try that ...I finally did everything but got tired of calling them after the 3rd time...
I'm "sure" it's probably the card & I could just buy another but "someone" should offer to send me a new one I think...

If you pay for shipping, I can send you mine.

I bought the premium kit mostly for the included card reader. And I paid for a separate CFast card (larger capacity). So I don't foresee myself using this packaged card.

I would try SanDisk direct, they usually just send a replacement.
