If Sandisk won't pony up, I'd try this with both Canon and Adorama alike;

"Hi, replace this defective card that came bundles d with my $7K camera, or else I will send you the whole package back as defective and you can replace that?"

amazing capture - awesome

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

Not experienced any problem so far with the Transcend CFast card that I brought so will be interesting to see if the free Sandisk one Canon are sending plays up.

Very similar to a corruption problem I had using a Lexar CF card and reader, the firmware on the reader needed updating or it would trash Lexar UDMA cards (only Lexar UDMA cards though :|) I would try downloading from the camera, see if the problem re-occurs.

My 1Dx Mk2 arrived yesterday. I've never named one of my camera bodies before, but after putting this thing on 'go fast' and here the sound which reminded me of the sound an A-10 Gatlin gun makes, this camera has a name: "The Warthog".

Is the 1Dx II really can correct CA?

In TDP review, i saw distortion correction, diffraction correction, and lens optimizer for in-camera aberration correction.

If so, does it work automatically like IS correcting shaking images?

I wonder what this camera can do to control the CA maker 85L II :rolleyes:

Please correct my english if it's wrong :-)

While I really love this new camera body there are some consequences to such a high frame rate. shot about 2,000 pictures at an airshow yesterday. Towards the end of the day I had a lot of oil splatter on my sensor. Anyone else getting this? I'm at the Airfield again all day today, I'll share some pictures tonight of what I'm seeing. Cleaning the sensor last night was easy enough but not for the timid
