See a few are complaining over on the DP review forum of having problems with the 1DX MKII not being sharp when used with the 500mm f4 or 300mm f2.8.

Can safely say my one is working like a treat with all my glass and actually I have nothing bad to say about it at all.

Well, I finally got around to shooting some test shots with my 300mm f/2.8 II + 1.4xIII, and after some slight MFA (+4) I must say it is as sharp as ever.

I'm sure if I'm happy with the sharpness with the 1.4x, I'll be just as happy without. It's not bad for ISO 1250 either.

Another with the 800mm and 1.4x, this combo has been performing very well on the new body.

Does anyone know how to configure the WFT-E8A to send only jpg's?

I'm using ShutterSnitch on my iPad and the 1DX2 is sending raw's to it. I can see the camera menu to configure what size raw's and jpg's to transfer, but I can't find a way to completely turn off transferring of raw's.

yeah I went out late last night checking out "night shooting" & got one-0-these...
I don't shoot thousands of shots at a time so I've got 3 of these i around 350 shots...
I went ahead & "reformatted" the card...guess I need to go shoot some pics & movies of my sons dog fetching his ball & shoot a few thousand pics to see whats really up...

Sorry if I'm asking you to repeat yourself, but is this happening only to the CFast? Or is this happening with both CFast and Compact Flash (CF)?

Also can you configure the camera to write to BOTH cards? Both RAW and JPEG.

I still can't tell from the evidence posted whether its the CFAST card, the camera or the card reader. Posting the same results over and over doesn't help diagnose the problem.

1 - Does it happen to both the CFAST and CF cards?
2 - Individually written cards or both cards written at same time?
3 - Does it happen only to RAW, JPEG or both?
4 - Does it happen when viewing files with Sandisk reader?
5 - Does it happen when plugging USB3 cable directly into camera?

I've yet to be able to recreate the problem on my end.

I only have shot RAW...today I put a CF card in & shot a few for the 1st time I didn't have it happen to the CF card...but like I say I don't shoot 1000's at a time so who knows...

Ok so I have some news.

I went through the 183 pictures on my card (both shot as raw and jpeg, but not both at the same time) and found a raw file that shows the symptoms of being partially corrupt. You have to view the image in entire main window before the error is displayed. I've only been looking through thumbnails so I didn't see it.

I always write to both cards. The CF card's version had a clean file. None of the other files were corrupt. That helps to rule out the camera.

I used my Lexar CFast card reader to copy the images to my computer so that rules out the Sandisk Reader.

I am going to run the CFast card through CFCheck to see if it can find the error.
