What remote shutter release are you guys using for this baby ?

My YN622C triggers do not work on my 1Dx2

Assuming there is an update coming for this.

Anyone else having trigger issues. I got the warning box and the camera said it could not communicate

My Cheetahstand lighting works perfectly

There is definitely something about the overall firmware of the 1DX II which is different given the Sigma and Tamron lenses need Aberration correction turned off - and now your trigger issue. My guess is that all the 3rd party people are going to have to spend some r&d money because my guess is the coming 5D4 is the same.

Just tried out my PocketWizard Plus X triggers and they work fine with an off camera flash.

I use the YN-E3-RT trigger and it works, I mean it fires the flashes but I can't control the power from the trigger nor from the camera and have to do it from the flashes and that sucks, also something weird is that when I have the trigger on the hot shoe, when it's ON I can shoot HSS but if I turn it OFF but keep it on the hot shoe, the camera won't shoot faster than 1/250 and that also sucks.

Oh, that is a bummer! My whole kit revolves around them. (not that I'm in the 1Dx2 market, still waiting for my free sample!)

Im going to see if there is un update for these 622's. If not wuill still use them on the 5D3..... also going to check with PW. I still have the Mini and TT5's collecting dust as well

Being very honest

If there are not any updates then I will likely buy 2 cheetahstand/godox speedlights. The trigger system definitely works and they works flawlessly. I only use speedlights for inside use or in very low light where a speedlight can handle things. But my big use is reception lighting and dance floor shots. Like to have a kicker in there if I have enough room

I may just say screw it and buy cheetahstand speedlights. They work better than canons stuff and same power output.... My 580's are on their last legs . I dont think we can get flash tubes for them through canon anymore. At least thats what CPS told me

I can't be sure because how can you be with these things, but this has to be one of the first proper magazine covers shot with a production 1DXII.

This is a publication I regularly shoot for and they'll actually be releasing a video on these folks soon that I also shot with the camera.

Sometimes there is a delay. It has happened to me. There are quite a few. Give it a little time.
