Cheers my friend and I am sure it will get sorted in the end once either a few more fail or CPS sort the problem.

Am certain its just one or two cameras and not an issue with loads as we had with the 1D MKIII's but as its so intermittent but always when im working its a PITA.

Like has been mentioned i think it is voltage or current related as its with prolonged burst use with head on bike shots it happens and i take upto 3000 images a day at race meetings.

With the bikes traveling at the speeds they do the A/F needs to drive from its furthest point to its nearest while tracking and firing off three or four frames in quick succession with a pack of 40 bikes over the first few laps and then after a move round track again going through the same routine upto 4 or 5 times each race.

When i use it for BIF or side on pans it doesnt seem to have a problem although now i am questioning the focus on some shots it should easily nail as in fast paced sports its no better than the 1DX in all honesty at this time for me.

Am waiting a call back from CPS.

Funny, not the most stealth is it ;-)a Camo works great for protecting the lens. Some animals do not even know its a lens with the camo :-)

Feel the same way about watching reviews by a guy named Dustin on there. lol good information but I'd rather have my teeth pulled than have to listen for an hour.

So was this. It woke me when Scott asked Damian if he made fine adjustments in Case 4 and he asked "what adjustments" :-)

That was a pretty awesome video. My kids loved it when the birds dipped their heads underwater and started splashing around.

In all of the craziness of late I completely forgot to share the video I made to accompany that magazine feature article about the potters I posted about a while back.

So here it is. Shot completely on the 1DXII in about 3 hours. Let me know what you think. :-)
