Great night shot. For photos like that couldn't you just hover and shoot it if you don't have hover mode?

Thank you. Just hovering and shooting won't cut it in windy conditions. Not sure what is hover mode? Similar to Tripod Mode?

When not windy, I think maybe up to 1 second exposure might be possible, and could result in sharp and acceptable images. However in windy conditions, I had very hard time shooting anything longer than around 1/8 seconds. I could be off by a little, but point is that "Tripod Mode" is definitely something special for still photographers and believe it's a must when you need to shoot long exposures.

I thought tripod mode was for nice slow ascending/descending and yaw movements.

"There is also a new Tripod Mode that drops Mavic Pro’s maximum speed to just 2.2 mph (3.6 km/h) and reduces the sensitivity of the control inputs, to allow precision positioning for photography as well as to make it easier to fly indoors or in other confined spaces."\\

I didn't know that it also kept the drone more stable in the sky in windy conditions because I was assuming your photograph was done stationary.

I can't be bothered with video. But I do like taking stills with my phantom 3!

Here's an awesome video from Canada. Check out the ice skaters and the shadows they cast on the ice! This was shot using the P4 Pro +

Has anyone else tried using Litchi yet as an alternate controller for your P4? I don't know if it's even compatible with the P4 Pro yet but assume it is by now. That app has a pano function that works really well. Here's a quick test I did shortly after I got the app. I used PTGUI to stitch it all together but you can see some misalignment here and there. I'm not sure if that was caused by Litchi or PTGUI to be honest. More than likely, it was due to operator error! Shortly after I put this together, I got rid of my P4.

Gene, that is very cool. I like it! No I haven't even attempted to try Litchi yet so I just looked it up. You have to pay for the app? Thought it would be free..
