I've been shooting this hawk for months now, mostly with EOS, and then the a6300 with
adapted lenses----I forget a BIF machine is here on the shelf.
OK the a77ii is not cheap but I've seen over and over again strings of images like this one.
I got 20+ in a row using the Tamron 150-600mm
If someone is looking to get into BIF I would recommend this combo over any other for dollars,
reach and weight.
BUT this combo loves light, the a77ii has Sony's yesteryear sensor and you can only push ISO so
much, worse is the buffer clearing time. No problem firing off those 20+ but it will take quite a while
for the buffer to clear.
Tracking is phenomenal, better than the a6300.
Handheld at 600mm-
