In the market for a compact camera for my travels through Europe. Taking my DSLR but would like a compact to compliment.

I have done so much research and the Fujifilm X100T seems like a lovely camera, but I was hoping to find something maybe comparable for under $1,000.

Any advise welcomed, thank you!

It's smaller and has a zoom lens, but a smaller sensor, so it really depends on what you're after. You haven't really given any details on what you're looking for.

Basically, I am looking for the best quality, best bang for your buck, in a compact camera to take traveling.........for all types of images one takes on vacation, scenery/landscape, street photography, detail shots, people, ect...an all around all purpose camera......video is nice but not high on the list....... :)

Oh, and when you say smaller sensor, does that mean I would be hard pressed to make large prints if desired......say a 20x24 canvas for example...?

Fujifilm X70

I had a hard time deciding between the X70 and the X100T. In the end I went with the 100.
