I have always had a camera nearby for most of my life but became a "late bloomer" into my 40's when I really got bitten by the photography bug. Weather has always been a passion of mine and I've spent many years as a Storm Tracker and media photographer. Auto Racing is also one of my great interests along with Amateur Radio and Firearms. Yeah, got lucky that she and her friend happened to be on the beach when I was shooting the image...I kept thinking that she looked like some type of D&D character traveling on a quest...
