I just wanted to recommend that a Vintage Lens section would be added to the forum. Thanks

.

I have, and enjoy, a vintage lens. But it is a Canon, and therefore already fits neatly into the Canon EF and EF-S section of the forum. I suspect this might be the case for many vintage lenses; that they already fit into a manufacturer-specific part of the forum.

Not that your idea is a bad one, because it isn't. But there seems to be a real effort to limit the number of separate forum sections that we have here at POTN, because there is already a daunting number of separate sections, and having too many makes the site cumbersome and unpleasant for many members to use.

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Yes, I've seen the the thread....

Just saying a vintage lens section would be more useful than say a Leica Accessories section which has 2 threads in it lol.
