EightEleven Car enthusiast and an all around nice guy More info | I see you are using the 6D2, the "Canon Connect" app and WIFI is a great resource for light painting. Make sure you use a tripod. Any camera movement will effect stacking images accurately. If the exposure is long enough you are able to walk in front of the camera without being seen. Ron Snarski

The lines come from an LED Light strip glued to a 4 foot section of PVC pipe spray painted black. After beginning the exposure, I slowly moved the LED lights from left to right. And voila, the final result.
