Reading their whole review and comparing it to the one they wrote for the 7D Mark II is refreshing since there is less of a fanboy mentality expressed and it seems more even-handed than other comparisons I've seen. There is no question the D500 is the best APS-C body available right now and a great achievement by Nikon. As both their reviews show, the much newer D500 is a better, more sophisticated body. But it also shows that while the D500 is a superior camera, the older and less expensive 7D2 didn't miraculously turn into a piece of crap as some fanboys have suggested. Kudos to Nikon on this stunning achievement. I sincerely hope no issues pop up to mar their success.

Me too but it would have to be D4 or D500 but not both.
