This is a first for my property. And only the 2nd time I have ever seen one. He/she showed up 5 days ago and has hung around ever since. Not seeing any sign of a mate though.
Northern Maryland.

Thanks! He/she would stay in that position for the longest time before pouncing on an insect. Then back up in the tree to do it again. Fun to watch.

Beautiful shots! I have only seen, and photographed one, once at my house a few years ago. Luckily I got photos, because no one believed there was one in my area!
