Lots of great shots here again this week folks.

A couple of shots of a 1912 C.W. Parker Carousel.

Today, I took Sophie the Dog up the creek that runs through our neighborhood. This is at about 9,500 feet and about a 1 1/2 hour hike west of us. Sony RX-100 has a ND filter option on the menu that came in handy. Creekside rock worked nicely as a tripod.

As an aside, it seems that the quality of photobucket linked images has slipped considerably lately. Sticking with Flickr for now.

Had another late evening rain storm. So decided to do another stitch showing the movement of the drops. About nine shots in this one

Nice shot of the water, Paul. I thought about something like that but didn't get to a good location for it. I did head back out to McDaniel Farm before sunset since the clouds were moving pretty good all day. Go figure they all pretty much go away when I got over there & got setup. I did catch this jet moving through the scene right before I packed up & left though. I tried an animated gif myself for this. I forgot my remote shutter release and apparently I moved the camera some during the shots. Looks like I'm on a boat!

On the way home, I found that a mini-carnival was still setup in a parking lot of a strip shopping center. I pulled into a nearby parking lot & grabbed a couple of shots.

Are those bluebirds, Pete??

Thanks for the likes & comments on the carnival shots. One more from me kinda taking off on what InPhoto did on his shot. However this is 13 images stacked via lighten blend modes. This was sunrise this morning over the ATL. I'd wanted to get a good moonset shot at sunrise, but it didn't come out like I'd hoped. Even with .6 ND filter (the 10 stop made everything disappear and there wasn't much traffic to begin with this morning), I couldn't get 1 long enough exposure with enough motion, so I decided to stack and hope I'd have enough motion with cars & the few clouds that were there this morning. It was a bit breezy too, so the trees in the foreground are moving too.
