Why no refurb M cameras?

I've been thinking about picking up a mirrorless camera and since all of my ILC cameras have been Canons, I'd like to stay with Canon. I prefer to purchase refurbished from Canon since I've bought both of my DSLR bodies and several lenses that way. There is no listing of refurbished M-series cameras on Canon's site. Is it because demand hasn't been that much so they haven't received many units back?

I don't know about M cameras, but I've pondered the same thing about the 24-105 STM. I have come to the conclusion that the manufacturing process is just so good that none of them are defective. And, the lens itself is so good that nobody complains about it. Ever seen any on the FOR SALE pages? Must be the same with the M.

They may be listed in a different area on the refurb site. Since it's mirrorless it may not be listed as a DSLR. (though it should be under the EOS refurb)

There are always people selling used M's in the for sale areas. (I'm going to be one of them very soon as well)

It could be that Canon seems to have abandon the M series in the US so no no refurbs are being offered.
