So now there are yongnuo and GODOX on surface as alternatives, i will pass other 3rd party brands, so between those two which is more reliable to go with? and which model that is equivalent to for example Canon 600XT or Nikon SB910?

I won't talk much about all the features to choose from, mostly they all have TTL and high sync and recycle time and whatever, i am still using Canon 580EXII and i still have 580 mk1 that is completely out of use and i may sell it, so i want to have a replacement to this mk1 or, to buy a good one then i use my Canon 580II as backup or second flash, mostly i don't shoot events where i need many flashes, but my friend is starting to bring some events where i can shoot and he rents gear from me and mostly he is shooting those events where he needs to use speedlights, so i only gave him 580II, but i want to be ready for any events where i may use 2 speedlights or most important if me and him will shoot and we both need the speedlight at the same time, i don't think this year or any soon i can afford 600XT or even Canon equivalent, i won't spend over $200 or $250 on a speedlight anymore.

The most convenient speedlite, in my view, is the Godox V860II. Its TTL and has a lithium Ion battery internally so there is no need for an external battery to get fast recycle time and long battery life. It will work optically with your existing Canon speedlites for wireless. It also has a built in transceiver that works with Godox wireless X system.

Every time I buy a product with an internal rechargeable battery, and the battery is NOT designed to be quickly replaced, it reminds of the the many times that I have been away from a location where I can charge and wishing I could simply swap out batteries for fresh ones.

Ther V860 Godox and Cheetah have a li-ion battery pack that changes out faster than the ones that use AA batteries because its just one battery instead of 4 and it will last through more than 600 full power pops. It's not locked into flash, its very easy to swap out.

I have been running the Cheetah Version of the Godox flashes for the last couple years and love them. With the Cheetah version you get US support and repair. Godox/Neewer get sent back to china. I just upgraded to the New Cheetah V860X after 2 years of the V860. Here is a review that Elv did on the V860.

The new "X" version incorporates a internal 2.4 GHz receiver. If you want FANTASTIC customer support get the Cheetah version

Wilt,
Its an easy to replace battery.
Takes less time than replacing 4 AAs. Even if they are in a cage as the Nissin Di700a does it.

WOW, i was exactly thinking about GODOX V860, but wasn't sure.

Now the only thing i want to check out about is, can i buy additional rechargeable batteries for this flash? i mean where i can buy bonus/additional batteries so i can change/replace when one battery charge runs out?

Cheetah is same as V860? there is few models of V860, i think -C is stand for Canon, well, i will be using Canon cameras more but i do have Sony too and Hasselblad, which one i should buy? and that X version sounds great to have as it has built in radio receiver.

Thank you very much!

Cheetah is a rebadged Godox that goes through an inspection and testing process before putting the Cheetah name on them. You also get US support so if you have any probems you can call or hit the facebook page and get any help you might need. If it needs repair it gets sent to texas. If you have problems with a godox you contact china and send it back there. Edward and the guys in texas (and others) are awesome at helping people..

Sorry
Just realized you are not in the US are you :)

The X1T trigger/controller is available in Sony variant as well as Canon. The speedlite can be triggered by either one. There is an XT-32 in the works that will work with the Hassy, or you can use the X1T and turn off the control pins so it just fires at x sync. The XT-32 will support HSS but not TTL. I'm not sure if it will work with Hassy for HSS.

Right now I'm using a 430EXII and two YN-560's, and Cactus V5 triggers. I'm anxious for this stuff to wear out so I can upgrade to Godox/Neewer - or I guess now Cheetah. I've been abusing these Yongnuos for several years but they just won't quit.

Go for the V860 which has ETTL, then when you need a second or third light you can get the less expensive V850's which don't do ETTL.

Sounds time to have another flash or speedlite into my collection family, and i did find the battery to buy it individually, so either i buy it without selling my 580 mk1 or waiting to sell it first, it is not an expensive one so it will not be difficult to get one, and i won't be in rush to buy more units if i won't use them all together or at once sometimes, if my friend could bring some events where we need more speedlite to fire then sure i can buy more, at the end he will bring those paid events i told him, not interested in free ones anymore.

Thanks again, i will look at Cheetah too, not sure if GODOX is better for me because i live in Asia so China is easier to contact than US for me.
