When was the last time you inspected your backups?

Hard lesson recently, a drive with a project died, looked for backup, it was bad as well (gigo). Last set never ran. Spent a month recovering from this. Now most recent backup is inspected by using a photo browser to verify that not only was the current directory duplicated, but that it actually contains the photos. After third version, reinspect the most important files.


Some photographers WAIT for the action..we CHASE it!

Oh dear... I am not sure I have ever really properly inspected my backups.

All the time, don't want to risk losing many memories and important images. Make sure to have some redundancy.
