That's nice. TTL, with a bare bulb, speedlite size, and the Li-Ion battery.

Sounds IDEAL !!!

This has bee answered before. Godox produced the XTR-16 which has the same function but communicating directly with the X1TC and you can put the FT-16 to rest. Please take batteries out of the FT-16 so that they won't leak in time, inside the FT-16 transmitter.

The XTR16 /XTR16s don't function right and can be a pain in the ass. If I want to use the version one units, I use the old receivers and use the old transmitter in the hotshoe of the x-1. I find the old 433Hz more reliable then the new 2.4Ghz for the older units.

I have still that problem locking up with the AD600 and FTR16 and the XTR16 did not get locked by the AD600 till now. Using a XT32c as trigger.

Update 26 June: just tried out a test run with the XTR16 receiver attached to the AD600 and triggered by the XT32c and I could not lock up the receiver and it did not miss a flash. It seems to be only the two FTR16 (433MHz) that are locking up on the AD600.

I suspect your XTR16 may be defective.

Sounds like you have it in the wrong group.

You can only use A/B/C/D/E

Hi again.

I believe you've posted about this issue in more than one thread, so it's a bit tough to keep track of everything you've tried.

In another thread, in response to questions about your Group settings, you wrote:

i set GR- to A, ofcourse mode is set to M ,firmware is 15, camera canon eos 5DS...

This does not make it clear whether you have set the group to A on both transmitter and XTR16.
Have you?

As David wrote in another thread:

The wheel sets the group. Gr A on the X1T requires that the wheel on the XTR-16 is set to A.

It might help if you could include, in one post:

- Model numbers and firmware versions of the hardware being used
- channel setting of transmitter
- group setting of transmitter
- channel setting of receiver (dip switch pattern on XTR16)
- group setting of receiver (wheel on the XTR16)

Owen.

The "receiver" described is the XTR-16, right?

So, the wheel on your Xtr-16 is set to A, and all four of its little switches are in the "down" position, (this is channel 1), correct?

If so, I would also try setting the XTR-16's wheel to "B" and to "9" just in case your particular XTR-16's manufacturing was a bit "off".

Assuming that doesn't work, I would suggest you try to find another XTR-16 to test.

You could also update the firmware of your X1T-C, but I don't think that is likely causing the problem.

Owen.

I have the xtr-16 in the video from Jimmy and Cheetahstand sent him a new one. I tested and tested it and it works just fine with my setups. Not sure why it was not working for him and he got a replacement and then returned all his stuff back for a refund.

When using the Godox 360II in wireless radio slave mode "off camera", the Godox 360II will continue to flash the two optical slave LED's. VERY annoying to the person in front of the flash! Is there any way to turn this off?

Two Canon EOS R5's, Canon EOS R6, Canon RF 28-70mm f/2.0, Canon RF 85mm f/1.2, Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8 - Profoto A1's ~ XPLOR 600PRO strobes ~ light stands, tripods, monopods, soft boxes blah blah blah
