How can I see the transfer speed from my wifi antennna to my BT Home hub in Windows 10.

Why?
To determine the best place to put the antenna of my Intel AC WiFi card.

In Win 10 in the bottom tray you could expand it and see whether you were getting 1, 2 or up to 5 bars.
Then it was useful say in the Garden, and sitting in one area verses another could significantly increase the speed.

But in Windows 10 yes it has 4 or 5 bars but they dont signify signal strength - seems to be a static image. Is there an equivalent meter?

( note I am talking about the reception the antenna on the PC is exeriencing...... Not the data transfer rate of the broadband )

Apologies if its somewhere obvious but I have looked everywhere nearly :):)

That Microsoft one works a treat its amzing just moving the anntenna a little really boosts the signal. Inproved it maybe 30%. Thanks

Just a FYI, Wifi signal isn't measured as a straight line - a 3db increase in signal is actually a 2x increase in power.

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Thanks gr at to learn that then this tool is even more useful than I thought I moved the pc and repositioned the antenna - so useful this.
And it seems to be non invaisive.
Love it.
Wish there was something simple like this to see my GPU fan speed. As afterburner seems terribly invaisive.
