Can someone tell me what the name of this bird is? Is it a Herron?

I've only gotten a pic of a youngin'. As usual, they look completely different:

I just love the long head feathers on adult Herons, sometimes they show them more than others, but whenever I see them my goal is to get photos showing those long feathers.
