Hello all! I've just joined and am looking for some CC on a few photos of my first wedding I recently shot. Thank you for your time.

#1. It is almost there. I do like a good walking away shot. Be careful about cutting off their hands. Besides just cutting off at a joint of the body, you are losing the relationship between the couple, especially with a newly married couple by not showing the hands being their point of interaction. I do like the tall grass and the wooden posts that appear to be some sort of vineyard.

#2. Composition is good. I like that we can see that the bride is holding/reading her note and the groom has a great expression.
This image to me is not usable as the groom who is the obvious subject is way out of focus. I am not sure if you focused on the note or his jacket due to where your AF points are located, or if the relationship between your camera and lens is way out of wack. I don't think that the issue is shutter speed as that lens has 3 stops of IS.

Keep shooting, you have a good eye for composition.

BTW, welcome to POTN and i hope i was not too harsh.

Thank you for your input! I will try to post up a few more images later on. I have another image very similar to the first image but not as tight and you can see the holding of hands. I decided to convert to black and white as well. As for focus issue on number 2 I do agree. I'm using an old canon t1i that I think is having some back focus issues. I'm really hoping to upgrade soon!

Here are a couple more. The bride and father is one of my favorite captures of the day. I love the emotion in it. The other is a crop. I don't usually crop but I wanted to get the details of the ring exchange

Black and white that second one with the groom out of focus a little bit. That is usually the best direction when you like the photo but has some minor issue.

Focus and expression of father on first black and white is excellent.
