You can calculate a more precise clear aperture by taking the maximum focal length and dividing that by the aperture. At 500mm your widest aperture is 6.3, so 500/6.3 = 79.4mm. So a little bit smaller than the filter size, I'd change the edge thickness to 10mm.

For my tamron 150-600mm the clear aperture is 95.2mm and the filter size is 95mm. I'm going to print one off and try it this week.
