Thanks, Ian. The upland sandpiper is an easy one to ID. First off, they are found in upland areas, not the shorelines. They are large and have a bulbous head. Quite simply, they look like an upland sandpiper!
The marbled godwit was a satisfying capture for me; my other shots of them were not good at all. We also saw a Hudsonian godwit, which was a lifer for me, but the shots of that were poor.
