We have been delivering digital files on a logo printed thumb drive in a metal tin for several years. Now the company I have been buying from (FlashBay) will not accept my order because my billing address for my credit card is my P.O. Box; and they don't ship to P.O. Boxes. What company do you use for your post-wedding file delivery to your brides?

I use PhotoFlashDrive.com (external link). If someone won't ship to me in New Zealand (which is reasonably common) I use a reshipper.

tim, Do you order as needed or order in bulk? I'm going to do these for wedding clients, but would like a little more personal touch then my business name plastered on everything. I like the idea they're showing of the couple's names on the front with my logo elsewhere. Is that how you do it? Got one you really like?

I think they charge per design on the box, I think $5 from memory, so doing it customised for each customer would be a bit more expensive. It's not instant either, from memory it takes a few days to produce. So you'd have to get them made in advance, and maybe have a few spare with your studio name.

My customers think they're awesome with my studio name on the lid and on the USB.

Cool. Now that my logo is finished, I'll go ahead and order some. How do you judge what size USB to get?

I get 8GB, which is plenty for what I do, most are under 4GB. Look at the size of your previous deliveries. I deliver Q10 sRgb jpeg, native camera size is 12MP for me, 500 - 700 per wedding, copies in color and B&W. If you have high MP cameras you may need larger USB drives, or reduce the size of the images you deliver to 3600px on the longest side, which is big enough for almost anything.

8Gb's are plenty for me most of the time as well. Tim, any thoughts on giving a slightly lower JPG Quality and still giving highest resolution?

Mine are around 24MP (around 6000x4000px) at full res, I'm wondering what you think of keeping that resolution but a slightly lower quality (say 85 - I can't tell the difference myself when I put them side-by-side at 100%) - what do you reckon?

Q10 / 80% are about the same, and are close to lossless. Have a read of my post in this thread.
